I had the great pleasure of meeting dawn this past Saturday at a bungee jumping
outing in the Angeles National Forest, and I merely wanted to write to again say
it was great meeting her and that my friend Joann and I look forward to getting
her out to the Gaslamp in Long Beach. Additionally, I wanted to thank her for being
so encouraging, since Joann was incredibly close to backing out of her jump, because
Dawn got her to go through with it she's now incredibly proud of herself. If you
wouldn't mind passing this along to Dawn, I sure would appreciate it.

You exemplify the word “Mentor”. You are truly a wise and faithful
counselor to my daughter.
In August 2006 at Loyola Marymount University, you were one of the Alumni panelists
speaking to the LMU Undergraduates about "Success in College and beyond". This is
when Giana introduced herself to you and informed you of her interest in becoming
your mentee. You then asked Giana, "Are you willing to be consistent,
dedicated, and serious?" "Yes," Giana replied.
Since that day you've taken Giana under your wing and enhanced her future with nurturing
learning experiences.
You taught her life values by giving her personal advice on young men and boundaries,
educated her by taking a trip to skid row to experience the life of the homeless,
introduced her to individuals of professional stature to network with for career
purposes,
supported Giana and have been in attendance on numerous occasions/events that she
has been involved in or has directed,
and you assisted Giana with attaining her professional business license for her
greeting card collection, and the list goes on.
Dawn, I want you to know you are appreciated for who you are and all that you do.
You are Brilliantly Tenacious and a Virtuously Honest
young lady.
You have given my daughter, Giana, the admonition that will last a lifetime as she
excels in her future endeavors.
